  • VIrtual Devices emulate real device behaviour

  • Virtual Devices let you test integrations (HTTP & RMQ) without real devices and base stations

  • First Virtual Devices have to be created (Console)

  • Second Virtual Devices have to be positioned (SPlace)

  • Virtual Devices can send 4 types of messages:

    • Heartbeat (every 3 hours - ensures no incidents are registered)

    • Occupancy Status Change (on-demand or periodic) - test main functionality

    • Calibration (on-demand)

    • User Registration (on-demand) - test Tag authorization functionality

  • You can view raw messages sent by a device, by clicking View Messages button on the device’s row

  • You can delete a virtual device by clicking delete.
