Metrics
All critical metrics are required to have a positive status for a functioning base station.
The following table outlines the hierarchy of severity of each metric. The metrics below depend on the metrics above.

â–‡ - Yellow coloured metrics are informative but still affect the metrics below it

Metric name | Description | |
---|---|---|
1 | Power | Station’s power-on history. Uptime is the time passed since the latest boot. |
2 | Internet | Internet connection based on the ping status to Google’s DNS (8.8.8.8). |
3 | VPN | Connection status to the Nwave’s VPN server. Connection to VPN requires access to 34.249.186.186:444 and 3.9.73.207:444 |
4 | Online | Represents the status of a communication link between a base station and the Nwave’s cloud. To be online a station must have a working internet connection. |
5 | Receiver | Connection status of a receiver dongle. |
6 | Software | Running status of the signal decoding software. |
7 | Noise Level | History of noise level picked up by the station’s dongle. |
8 | Last Message Time | Time of the last received message. |
9 | Health | Represents the status of a communication link between a base station and the sensors. To be healthy a receiver must be connected and the software needs to be running |
