Responsible Persons

Introduction

Responsible Person is an individual that can offer support at the associated base station location. In the console, responsible persons can be used as a contact list and they can receive email notifications about the base station’s status. This allows you to closely monitor base stations' health and react quickly to any issues.

Adding Responsible Persons

Responsible Persons can be added on the individual base station page.

Responsible persons are connected to a location, therefore a base station must have a registered location.

You can replace a base station at any location and continue receiving notifications from the new station.

From the main menu select Base Stations.

Click on the id of a base station to which you want add a responsible person.

 

Click the [+] button in the Add Responsible Person section.

 

There are two options when adding a responsible person:

  1. Add new tab - Add a new person

  2. Choose from existing - Add a person registered in the console

To add a new person you should fill out the following details:

  1. First Name & Last name

  2. Role - individual’s responsibility at the location

  3. Email - contact email address

  4. Notification - notification about status change will be sent to the provided email when enabled.

You can disable notifications if you only wish to store the individual’s details.

 

Once you filled out the details click Add. Responsible Person will be added to the location.

You can always edit the responsible person’s details here by clicking the pen button.

 

 

Viewing Responsible Persons

Responsible Persons can be viewed in two places:

  1. The individual base stations page as shown previously.

  2. The Responsible person page in the settings section.

Let us consider the second option. From the main menu select Responsible Persons in the Settings section.

Here you will see a list of your responsible persons, their corresponding locations and base stations.

 

Removing (Detaching) Responsible Persons

Responsible persons can be removed (detached) from its location if you no longer wish to associate them with that location.

To remove a responsible person from a location click on the [-] button next to the responsible person.

 

Click Detach to confirm the removal.

 

The same action can be performed on the Responsible Persons page by clicking the [-] button.

 

Deleting Responsible Persons

Responsible persons can be permanently deleted from the Responsible person page by clicking Remove.

 

Click Confirm to finalize.

 

The responsible person is now permanently deleted.
